Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

This package was a gift to me for Christmas, and was bought at my the local music store, for $300.00. I wanted this because I really wanted to start to play bass and from what I researched this was the best deal, quality and price wise.

The guitar's overall body and shape I liked the best about it, its normally shaped, not t like those weird BC Rich basses. I am also satisfied with the sound.

I think the video they gave you is good, butif you're not into playing with your fingers like me its not a real big help. They should give you more accessories too, the strat pack came with a tuner, picks, and an extra set of strings, but that's not really a big deal.

The neck could be slimmer towards the bottom for me, but I still manage well. The wiring on the volume and tone knobs were poor in quality, but I easily repaired it with some sauder. Other than that is a good quality begginners bass.

This is a good package for anyone who wants to learn how to play bass.
